Brand new #25092745 Licensed GM restoration fuel sending unit (aka fuel pump hanger) for all 1984-1987 Vin 9 (non-intercooled 3.8 SFI Turbo) & Vin 7 (intercooled 3.8 SFI Turbo) Buick Grand National, Turbo Regal, and 1987 GNX with analog dash.
This newly re-introduced fuel sender was built exactly to original specs using the original GM blueprints and has been vastly improved with enhancements such as a more reliable updated ceramic card resistor and solid stainless steel construction to eliminate rust & corrosion. This product is also designed for use with newer, shorter, high volume or stock fuel pumps with modular connector.
Our sending unit ALSO comes complete with:
- New section of special submersible high pressure fuel line (resists gas permeation and retards aging) to replace the obsolete fuel pump pulsator. This special fuel line is designed to handle fuel on the inside AND outside of the line, while fully submersed. Any other regular fuel line will deteriorate in your tank.
- New all stainless steel Tridon clamps (no special tool required)
- New high volume fuel strainer (sock)
- New fuel pump foam rubber insulator sleeve
- New rubber fuel pump isolater grommet
- New steel reinforced fuel tank O-ring gasket with locating tabs (to keep it positioned properly during installation)
